Credit crunch halts European market for high-yield bonds
The last sale of high-yield bonds in Europe was conducted one year ago by InterGen, a U.S.-owned power company. Since then, the credit crunch has prevented such deals. Around the world, a few deals of high-yield debt were completed, but Citigroup analysts said the market has dropped 60%.
