The Managed Funds Association, whose members include D.E. Shaw and Steven Cohen's SAC Capital Advisors, called Tuesday in a new report for "significantly heightened standards" for preventing trading abuses and preparing for financial crises. The 276-page report, "Sound Practices for Hedge-Fund Managers," is the fourth version of a document first published by the Washington group in 2000.
